About LakeLevelData

LakeLevelData answers one question quickly: how high is the lake today, and is it going up or down? It covers 100 lakes and reservoirs that people check most often, from Lake Mead and Lake Travis to Table Rock Lake and Lake Lanier.

The levels are copied from public agency data (see data sources), updated automatically several times a day. For each lake we add the context the raw feeds leave out: change over a day, a week and a month, the 12-month range, the level on this date in earlier years, and how far it is from full pool.
